Our story begins on Neo’s 20th birthday, many years ago. Cherie gave Neo a handmade Wooden Shop set as a birthday present. They spent the afternoon making the Wooden Shop set in the college library. It took a lot of focus and patience and attention to detail, but they loved every minute of it. After graduating, Neo worked as a banker, and Cherie worked as a lawyer. They were happy with their lives, but they still had a dream they wanted to make come true. When Cherie became pregnant, they decided to create a toy brand as a memorable gift for their beloved daughter who would soon be joining them.

Tiny Land was born in our grandfather’s garage as a way to share our love of traditional wooden toys with children from all walks of life. We designed every common wooden toy for children: wooden play kitchens, toy pyramids and many other creations. Soon, we were receiving messages from loving parents who couldn’t believe how their children’s imaginations came to life. We heard stories of how our Tiny Land pyramids and pretend toys were going on adventures and being used day and night; we couldn’t believe it.

Over ten years later, we had almost forgotten about Wooden Shop. One day, our daughters stumbled upon it in an old corner of Grandpa’s house and fell in love with their newfound wooden toy. At that moment, we realized we were creating a business that had started years ago when we were very young. The shop’s sign — Century-aged Shop — said it all. As the founders of the Tiny Land brand and parents ourselves, we love nothing more than hearing about how our kids’ wooden tents and toys make them smile. For us, our products are a way for kids to create their own Tiny Land where they can explore, play, and build their own adventures.
