TELETIES came to me out of pure necessity
When my son was born prematurely, I lived in the NICU, constantly washing bottles and washing my hands what felt like hundreds of times per day. The black hair tie around my wrist was soggy and one day fell apart while in my hair. It wasn't strong enough to withstand the water and keep my hair up.

As a busy mom on the go, I had enough. As an entrepreneur, I decided to fix the problem and create a solution. I needed a hair tie that was water-resistant, provided a stronghold, and looked cute on the wrist. Thus, TELETIES was born. I spent two years conceptualizing designs, researching materials, and testing prototype after prototype until I created the perfect hair tie. A hair tie that has all the features, benefits, and improvements I envisioned.

As a proud female founder, I can take my own daily hair struggles and frustrations as inspiration to create innovative products that I believe are missing in the hair industry. For example, we have designed and developed nearly unbreakable claw clips, headbands that don't slip, and many more products to come.

I started TELETIES back in 2017 in my small garage, and it has been a dream to see the growth of the brand and how we can continue to take care of your hair.
