Our collection of knit throw blankets at Seek & Swoon is inspired by a passion for design, home goods, and a memorable two-month European sabbatical taken by our owner, Jala Smith-Huys, along with her husband and two young sons during the summer of 2015. Upon returning home, Jala was driven to start a business that would encapsulate her travel memories through high-quality products that everyone could enjoy and take pride in owning. Thus, Seek & Swoon came to life. Many of our designs draw inspiration from places we’ve visited, dream about, and called home.
We draw inspiration from the beauty of the world and the importance of taking care of it, exploring it, and contributing to its beauty. Our commitment to these principles is reflected in our products: each knit throw blanket is made in the USA from recycled yarn. We have partnered with a second-generation, family-owned knitting mill that shares our dedication to comfort, quality, and design.
