After 20 years of raising my daughter, I found myself standing at a crossroads. I had poured my heart into motherhood, and now it was time to pour that same energy into something of my own. Something bold, meaningful, and deeply personal.
Sandy Bottom was born from a love of the beach, travel, and beautiful design, but also from a frustration: I couldn’t find swimwear that reflected the kind of woman I had grown into. I wanted pieces that felt luxurious without being flashy. Sexy without trying too hard. And most importantly, made with purpose.

We source our swimwear and accessories from female artisans around the world because the hands behind your pieces matter. Our macramé styles are handmade in Colombia, by women using traditional techniques that have been passed down through generations. For many of them, this work provides not just income but independence, stability, and pride.
In Italy, our seamless suits are crafted along the Amalfi Coast by women who’ve been producing high-end swimwear for years. The quality is unmatched. The fit speaks for itself. And when you wear one, you’ll feel the difference because it was made by someone who understands what it means to dress a woman’s body with care.
We also offer small-batch accessories like hats, bags, and cover-ups. All designed or handcrafted by women. These aren’t just extras. They’re wearable stories, created with the same level of integrity as our swimwear.
