The raffia bag that started it all During a cozy lunch in the Danish countryside, the idea took its first real step. What if we could bring more color into everyday life? Not just through art or wall paint, but through the things we use every single day. Among them was a raffia bag from Madagascar – the very same kind we're still making today.
The bags were a hit, and orders poured in. So many, in fact, that they had to start rationing. Encouraged by the response, Charlotte and Philippe quickly expanded their selection – always with color, playfulness, and practicality in mind.
And that’s how rice began – with a desire to make everyday life more joyful.
