The trigger ??
Our story began in 2014, in the Philippines, where Robin was working on the development of a microfinance company intended to promote the development of local projects. ?

Passionate about surfing, he discovered the best spots in the country. However, he quickly realized that the "paradise" beaches had become huge rubbish dumps.

Plastic pollution and its consequences were then very real and appalling.

The values ????
A lover of nature, travel and concerned about the environment, he has organized coastal clean-up campaigns. with the help of the local population. ??

He quickly noticed that plastic toothbrushes were ubiquitous among the waste.

The observation ??
91% of plastic waste is not recycled. ? More than 4.9 billion plastic toothbrushes are thrown away every year and end up in our landfills... and our oceans. ??

The project ??
So he set out to find a more environmentally friendly alternative. His research led him to bamboo: a solid, almost inexhaustible and biodegradable material. Shortly after, Oceansrespect was born.

The mission ??
Oceansrespect aims to reduce our plastic waste with eco-responsible solutions. The project began with a simple bamboo toothbrush and has diversified to offer ever more eco-designed products .
