Galith, our founder, grew up in Antwerp, Belgium, the diamond capital of the world! She was born into a prominent, diamond-industry family and spent years observing her father’s work, attentively learning his skills while exploring the historic diamantaires of the city, some dating back to the 19th century. As she learned, she developed her personal finesse for brilliant cuts and piercing clarity, but most of all, she saw a way to provide fair pricing without lowered quality. With her knowledge—inherited and developed—of what makes an excellent piece of jewelry, she set out to create a company that represented her personal values of high-quality craftsmanship, affordable pricing, and sustainability. The result was Magal! Galith believes that every woman deserves a diamond, but not at the expense of her wallet or the environment.
