Karine never went to design school - her talent is natural, even if she won’t admit it! Her journey began over 30 years ago in the heart of Paris, driven by a love for art and the belief that style should be accessible to all.
In 2007, she launched her namesake brand, turning a longtime dream into reality. To this day, Karine is personally involved in every order because her customers' joy - whether it’s a kind note or spotting her jewelry on someone in the street - is what inspires her most.

At Karine Sultan, every piece begins with a pencil. Karine first sketches each design by hand, then shares it with the team to gather feedback and refine the vision. Once the designs are ready, she travels to Thailand to meet with our trusted factory partners and bring the vision to life.
A Family Story
What began as a single woman’s journey in 1986 grew into a true family adventure in 2015, when Karine’s eldest daughter, Margaux, officially joined the business. Over the years, Margaux welcomed three little ones into the world - and all of them grew up coming to the office, playing among jewelry trays and learning what it means to be part of a family-owned company.
Today, Karine’s youngest daughter, Lena, has also joined the team, making this business more than just a brand - it’s our family’s story, built with passion, creativity, and love. Remaining family-owned and operated isn’t just important to us, it’s at the heart of everything we do.
We’re proud to keep this a women-led business with strong ethical values. That’s why we work with a factory that mirrors our standards offering fair working conditions equivalent to those in the U.S. Our dedicated team of women artisans handles everything with care: they create custom molds, and each piece is individually assembled, polished, and finished by hand.
All our jewelry is dipped in 24kt gold and sealed with a protective coating to help prevent tarnishing - so every piece looks as good as it feels.
