Why did Hank & John start Good Store?
In 2019, Hank and John Green were at a crossroads. They were among the first wave of professional YouTubers, co-founded Complexly (an educational video studio), wrote several bestselling novels, and launched DFTBA, a creator-driven merchandising company—yet they still felt unfulfilled. Both of them agreed that making more money no longer motivated them, so they decided to start a business where all profits could be directed to charity, allowing people to do good through everyday purchases.

This hospital will help Partners In Health provide world-class medical care to mothers and children in a region with one of the highest maternal mortality rates in the world.
Partners In Health - Lesotho
100% of the profits from Keats & Co go to Partners In Health to support their Tuberculosis Project in Lesotho. Tuberculosis is the world’s deadliest infectious disease—yet it is entirely preventable. That’s why Partners In Health is working to secure long-term funding for tuberculosis testing and treatment in one of the regions most affected by the disease.
Coral Reef Alliance
100% of profits from EcoGeek purchases go to the Coral Reef Alliance—specifically the Maui Watershed Restoration project. The Coral Reef Alliance tackles the complexity of coral reef die-offs by working both in and out of the water. The Maui Watershed Restoration project is a land-based project aimed at reducing sediment runoff that blocks sunlight from reaching the coral reefs of Hawai'i.
