GetTerms is a simple, easy to use and affordable solution to compliance for small businesses and startups. Founded in 2017, we created GetTerms to provide a simple solution for customers to simply create Privacy Policies and Terms of Use documents for their websites. Since then, we’ve generated hundreds of thousands of policies for small businesses around the world, and continue to expand our product offering to support our customer needs.

We work with lawyers to craft high quality compliance templates that can be accessed by business owners at a fraction of the cost it would require to hire a legal team.

Our mission is simple – To simplify compliance for business owners, providing high quality documents quickly and affordably, so they can get back to their business.

Our core product offering is centred around Policy Packs that offer all of the typical policies a business needs to meet their compliance requirements. Each Policy Pack includes a Comprehensive Privacy Policy, Terms of Service, Cookie Policy and an Acceptable Use Policy.

Once generated, users can copy their policies and add them to their website, or use our hosted versions and link to them directly. Each Policy Pack allows for unlimited edits, ongoing feature and policy updates, and more.

For users who need a basic Privacy Policy (and do not collect user data), we also offer a free, lightweight Privacy Policy. This is typically suited to freelancers or personal blogs.
