The problems that many brides we spoke to (and myself as a bride) encountered while wedding dress shopping was 1) not knowing what gowns are available in bridal studios and their prices, 2) lack of choices / customizations in your local shops, and 3) long wait times where you're locked in one year in advance. On top of all this, it seems that the bridal tax is becoming higher and higher as the years go by.

For us here at Bone and Grey, our goal is to 1) keep your gown costs affordable so you can put that money to good use elsewhere, 2) shorter wait times so you can try on and decide when you please (and at home), and 3) customization options so you can make your gown truly your own.

Hello new friends! Thanks for dropping in, my name's Joy and I'm the Founder of Bone and Grey Bridal. I'm a Canadian-Chinese gal who moved to Singapore 7 years ago to pursue my career in the tech startup space. I started this little passion project of mine after being burnt out from the startup life and when I was looking for my own wedding gown - one that was minimal, modern, and one I didn't feel guilty buying for an one-day event. I visited various bridal studios in Canada and Singapore, and felt that something was mission. After talking to my friends and strangers who went through the same hurdles, I knew something was missing in the bridal market.

The studios we work with are family-owned, small, and are capable of taking on small orders to reduce inventory and fabric wastage. We design, source, and produce our gowns in China and Singapore - to keep batches small and of quality, and to achieve reasonable prices for both our seamstresses and our brides.

We hate nothing more than a piece of clothing you can only wear once. That’s why we curate our styles for minimalism and the ability to be worn during different life events after. We also offer Forever More, our post-wedding bespoke tailoring service to tailor your gown into a wearable everyday piece or pieces.

We do not use plastic in our packaging and only use materials that we believe can be re-used or serves actual purpose in your unboxing and storage purposes.

We know making a big purchase online can be daunting. That's why we have a fair exchange and return policy. We also offer free shipping for all of our gowns with tracking included!

We initially started our brand with 12 gowns in our Ready-to-Wear Collection, but now we have a Made-to-Order collection of higher quality gowns plus an accessories collection for veils, earrings, and other trinkets.
